Dougherty County

Located at 200 Pine Avenue in Albany, Georgia, the Dougherty County School District is an open, regular public school district operating within a small city community setting in the Albany metropolitan area. Functioning independently as a non-charter district, Dougherty County oversees 21 operational schools that deliver a comprehensive educational experience spanning from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. The system provides a seamless learning pipeline across every elementary, middle, and high school grade level, serving families and students throughout the regional political representation of Congressional District 1302, State Senate District 13012, and State House District 13153.
