NEW YORK CITY GEOGRAPHIC DISTRICT #22

New York City Geographic District #22 is an active, traditional public school district headquartered at 5613-19 Flatlands Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. Operating within a large city environment in the New York-Newark-Jersey City metropolitan area, this non-charter district oversees 40 operational schools designed to serve a broad educational continuum from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as ungraded programs. The district educates a vibrant population of 31,858 students, featuring a rich demographic tapestry that includes 10,021 White, 7,612 Black, 7,299 Asian, 5,614 Hispanic, and 764 multiracial students, alongside American Indian and Pacific Islander representation.
