Headquartered at 90-27 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, New York, New York City Geographic District #28 is an open, traditional public school system serving a vibrant neighborhood within the large city environment of the New York–Newark–Jersey City metropolitan area. As a non-charter district, it operates 50 public schools offering a complete continuum of education spanning pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, alongside specialized ungraded learning opportunities.
