Situated at 2333 Ontario Road NW in Washington, D.C., Briya Public Charter School is an active, independent charter district operating within a vibrant, large-city setting in the nation's capital. Tailored to meet multi-generational community needs, the district serves a specialized educational spectrum centered on early childhood Pre-Kindergarten alongside robust Adult Education programming. Currently enrolling 769 total learners—comprising 65 young children in Pre-Kindergarten and 704 adults—Briya offers a distinctive public charter framework that integrates early childhood development with adult advancement across the greater Washington-Arlington-Alexandria metropolitan region.

Briya’s student body reflects a rich urban diversity, featuring a strong representation of Hispanic learners (625) alongside Black (91), Asian (40), White (9), and multiracial students. Reflecting its focus on family-centered adult literacy and career development, female students make up a significant majority of the enrolled population at 647 learners. To support its multi-generational mission and comprehensive wrap-around services, the district maintains a dedicated operational workforce of nearly 205 full-time equivalent staff members focused on instructional support and district management.
