Ouachita Parish

Located at 1600 N. 7th Street in West Monroe, Louisiana, Ouachita Parish is an open, traditional public school district serving a midsize suburban community within the Monroe metropolitan area. Operating as a regular, non-charter district, it manages 36 operational schools that deliver educational instruction spanning from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. According to NCES data for the 2024–2025 academic year, the district educates a total student population of 17,435, consisting of 8,969 male and 8,466 female learners. Student enrollment is distributed continuously across all grade levels, beginning with 573 pre-kindergarten and 1,295 kindergarten children, up to 1,233 high school seniors.
