Situated along Alabama’s Gulf Coast at 300 East 16th Avenue in Gulf Shores, Gulf Shores City Schools is a fully operational, traditional public school district dedicated to providing a cohesive learning journey across three active academic facilities. Located within the rural fringe of the Daphne-Fairhope-Foley metropolitan area, the district serves a complete educational continuum from prekindergarten through 12th grade. Operating independently of charter models, this municipal school system acts as a cornerstone of the local community, delivering accessible, comprehensive education designed to support students at every stage of their academic development.

According to 2024–2025 academic data, the district nurtures a growing population of 2,748 enrolled students, comprising 1,419 boys and 1,329 girls across all grade levels. The district’s diverse student body includes 2,188 White students, 224 Hispanic students, 143 Black students, 134 multiracial students, and 34 Asian students, along with American Indian and Pacific Islander representation.
