Coastal Grove Charter District

Coastal Grove Charter District is an active, independent public charter district situated at 1897 S St. in Arcata, California. Set within a remote town environment in the Eureka-Arcata metropolitan region, the district functions as a single-school local educational agency that serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Designed to foster a cohesive learning journey from early elementary through middle school, Coastal Grove operates directly as its own federal program entity, delivering tailored educational services to the surrounding Humboldt County community.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, the district educates a student body of 235 learners, beginning with a robust kindergarten entry class of 46 pupils and maintaining consistent cohorts of roughly 20 to 28 students across the upper grades.
