ISANA Achernar Academy District

Located at 310 East El Segundo Blvd. in Compton, California, ISANA Achernar Academy District operates as an active, single-school independent charter district serving families within a large suburban setting of the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim metropolitan area. Functioning as its own local educational agency for federal programming, the district provides targeted primary and middle school instruction spanning kindergarten through eighth grade. During the 2024–2025 academic year, the academy educates a total student body of 407 pupils, reflecting a vibrant local community primarily composed of 272 Hispanic students and 124 Black students, alongside small cohorts of Pacific Islander, multiracial, and Asian learners, with a balanced composition of 207 female and 200 male students.
