Greater San Diego Academy District

The Greater San Diego Academy District is an active, independent charter district operating out of Jamul, California, located at 14545 Lyons Valley Rd. Situated within a large suburban setting in the broader San Diego-Chula Vista-Carlsbad metropolitan area, the district functions as its own local educational agency for federal programs and operates a single academic school site. Serving students from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade, the district provides a continuous, comprehensive educational environment for primary, middle, and secondary students across the region.

During the 2024–2025 academic year, the district serves a close-knit student body of 209 enrolled students, consisting of 115 female students, 92 male students, and 2 unclassified individuals. Student enrollment spans across all elementary and secondary grade levels, with particularly strong representation in the early elementary grades. The diverse student population includes 119 White, 58 Hispanic, 22 multiracial, 7 Black, and 1 American Indian student. To foster academic growth and institutional operations, the district is staffed by approximately 30 full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel, including roughly 18 FTE teaching professionals and 12 FTE support staff dedicated to maintaining a supportive learning environment.
