Mayacamas Countywide Middle District

Located at 983 Napa Street in the heart of Napa, California, the Mayacamas Countywide Middle District is a newly established independent charter district serving middle school students within a vibrant, small-city setting. Operating a single campus, the district focuses exclusively on early secondary education, welcoming students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. The current student body comprises 127 enrolled middle schoolers—with 51 in sixth grade, 40 in seventh grade, and 36 in eighth grade—creating a close-knit learning community that reflects the diverse multicultural background of the local region, predominantly represented by Hispanic and White students.

To deliver a supportive academic experience, the district is backed by a robust staff of roughly 22.5 full-time equivalent team members. This includes approximately 12.5 full-time teachers, resulting in an advantageous student-to-teacher ratio of about 10 to 1 that allows for personalized instruction and direct student engagement. The faculty is further reinforced by two instructional aides and eight support staff members, ensuring students receive well-rounded academic, social, and operational guidance.
