Palmdale Aerospace Academy District

Located at 3300 East Palmdale Blvd. in Palmdale, California, the Palmdale Aerospace Academy District provides a fully integrated public educational path within a large suburban community in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. Functioning as an active, single-school independent charter district that serves as its own local educational agency for federal programs, the academy offers a continuous learning experience from Kindergarten through 12th grade. By consolidating elementary, middle, and high school grade levels under one roof, the district delivers a streamlined academic journey designed to prepare students for higher education and modern technical careers.

The district supports a diverse student body of 2,259 learners, consisting of 1,268 male students and 989 female students across all grade levels. Its rich multicultural community includes 1,888 Hispanic, 139 Black, 103 White, 74 Asian, and 43 multiracial students, alongside American Indian and Pacific Islander representation. To foster academic growth and comprehensive student care, the district employs a robust team of nearly 458 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff members. This includes approximately 180 FTE teachers, 57.5 instructional aides, and over 220 support staff dedicated to maintaining a well-resourced learning environment for the entire student population.
