Magnolia Science Academy District

Located at 18238 Sherman Way in Reseda, California, the Magnolia Science Academy District operates as an active, independent charter district within the bustling urban setting of the greater Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim metropolitan area. Dedicated to secondary education, the district serves students in grades 6 through 12 through its single operational school site. Functioning as its own local educational agency for federal programs, the academy provides a tailored middle and high school academic model designed to guide learners seamlessly from sixth grade through high school graduation.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, the district serves a student body of 746 pupils, comprised of 359 female and 387 male learners. The student population brings a vibrant demographic mix to the campus, including 661 Hispanic, 43 Asian, 29 White, 7 Black, 5 multi-racial, and 1 American Indian student. To foster an effective learning environment, the district maintains a dedicated staffing structure of approximately 176 full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel.
