Alpha Cindy Avitia High District

Located at 1881 Cunningham Ave. in San Jose, California, the Alpha Cindy Avitia High District is an open, independent charter district serving secondary students within a vibrant large-city setting. Operating as a single-school local educational agency in the greater San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara metropolitan region, the district is dedicated exclusively to high school education, offering an academic environment for students in grades 9 through 12. Its focused institutional structure allows the district to tailor its curriculum and resources specifically to the academic, social, and post-secondary needs of older learners as they prepare for college and career pathways.

For the 2024–2025 school year, the district serves a student body of 405 pupils, comprising 231 young men and 174 young women distributed evenly across all four high school grade levels—from 117 ninth-graders to 94 graduating seniors.
