KIPP Navigate College Prep District

KIPP Navigate College Prep District is an open, independent charter district dedicated to delivering rigorous secondary education in San Jose, California. Located at 1750 South White Rd. in a large city setting within the San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara metropolitan area, the district operates a single high school facility serving students in grades 9 through 12. Serving as its own local educational agency for federal programs, the district provides a focused college-preparatory environment designed to guide high school scholars toward post-secondary success.

For the 2024–2025 school year, the district serves a student body of 297 scholars, maintaining a balanced enrollment across its four high school cohorts. The campus reflects a culturally diverse student population—predominantly composed of Hispanic and Asian youth alongside multiracial, Black, White, Pacific Islander, and Native American students. Academic instruction and holistic development are powered by an exceptional staffing structure that includes 50 full-time equivalent teachers and 14 full-time equivalent support personnel, bringing the total staff to 64 full-time equivalent professionals. This high ratio of instructional and support staff fosters a close-knit learning community with strong individual guidance, offering families and educational researchers an impactful model of modern urban charter education.
