Scholarship Prep - Orange County District

Located at 1010 West 17th St. in Santa Ana, California, Scholarship Prep - Orange County District is an operational independent charter district situated within the urban environment of the greater Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim metropolitan area. Serving elementary and middle school students from kindergarten through eighth grade across a single campus, the district functions as an autonomous Local Educational Agency for federal programs. Designed to foster academic readiness and long-term achievement, Scholarship Prep provides local families with a structured K–8 educational pathway in the heart of Orange County, laying a strong foundation for high school and beyond.

During the 2024–2025 school year, the district educates a total population of 615 students, comprising 327 male and 288 female scholars. The vibrant student body is predominantly Hispanic (589 students), alongside Asian, White, multiracial, Black, Pacific Islander, and American Indian learners. To ensure individual student success and equitable learning environments, Scholarship Prep maintains a robust human resources network featuring over 153 full-time equivalent staff members. This team includes nearly 48 full-time equivalent classroom teachers—delivering a favorable student-to-teacher ratio of roughly 13 to 1—supported by 21 instructional aides and more than 84 specialized support staff dedicated to academic, operational, and student services.
