Tulelake Basin Joint Unified

Headquartered at 400 G Street in Tulelake, California, Tulelake Basin Joint Unified is an active, traditional public school district serving a unique rural remote region in the far northern part of the state. Operating three dedicated campuses, the unified district provides a complete educational pathway spanning from kindergarten through 12th grade, alongside adult education programs for community members. As an established, non-charter system, the district plays an essential civic and educational role, delivering comprehensive academic curricula and community resources tailored to families across its isolated geographic setting.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, the district serves a close-knit student body of 479 enrolled students, featuring a culturally rich population comprised predominantly of Hispanic and White learners, alongside multi-racial and American Indian youth.
