Located at 991 Mountain View Blvd. on Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, the Manzanita Public Charter District operates as an active, independent charter district serving families within the rural fringe of the Santa Maria-Santa Barbara metropolitan area. Managing a single, focused campus, the district provides a dedicated elementary learning environment for 483 students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. Cohort sizes remain consistently strong throughout these primary years—ranging from 52 to 77 students per grade level—offering a cohesive, community-oriented academic environment for young learners during their crucial foundational years.
