DJJ District

The DJJ District is a newly established, non-charter local education agency headquartered at 2737 Centerview Drive in Tallahassee, Florida. Set within a midsize city environment, the district operates one school facility authorized to serve students across a comprehensive grade range spanning from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Active student enrollment is heavily concentrated in the secondary levels, serving learners from the fourth grade through the twelfth grade, with the highest concentration in high school grades nine through twelve. Through its administration, the district delivers targeted academic programs aimed at providing structured learning and development opportunities within its specialized public framework.

Serving a total population of 1,024 students, the district's enrollment comprises 910 male students and 114 female students. The student demographic background includes 605 Black students, 315 White students, 82 Hispanic students, 14 students of two or more races, 4 Asian students, 3 American Indian students, and 1 Pacific Islander student. To effectively guide and assist this population, the district maintains a robust workforce totaling 442 full-time equivalent staff members.
