State Specialty Schools II- D.E.L.T.A. STEAM Academy

Located at 7131 Mount Vernon Road in Lithia Springs, Georgia, D.E.L.T.A. STEAM Academy operates as an active, independent charter school district within the bustling suburban landscape of the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. Serving a single operational campus, this specialty public district offers a continuous academic program structured for students from kindergarten through the eighth grade. Nestled within a large suburb setting, the academy provides a focused learning community designed to foster early growth and academic exploration in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics throughout the elementary and middle school years.

For the 2024–2025 school year, the district serves a diverse student body of 391 children, bringing together young learners across various backgrounds with a predominant representation of Black students alongside Hispanic, multiracial, American Indian, and Pacific Islander youth. To support student achievement and development, the district maintains a robust workplace context powered by approximately 90 full-time equivalent staff members.
