Located along Highway 49 in Oglethorpe, Georgia, the Macon County School District is an active, traditional public school system serving the educational needs of its local community. Situated in a distant rural setting, this non-charter district operates three schools that deliver learning opportunities across all primary and secondary grade levels, spanning from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
