Idaho STEM Academy Inc. is an open, independent charter district serving secondary students in Blackfoot, Idaho. Conveniently situated at 1350 Parkway Drive #18, the district operates a single specialized school tailored exclusively for high schoolers in grades 9 through 12. Set within a distant town geographic setting, the academy provides a focused, small-school learning environment for its 68 enrolled students, which currently includes 9 ninth graders, 22 tenth graders, 15 eleventh graders, and 22 twelfth graders. This dedicated secondary focus allows the institution to deliver a targeted learning environment designed to prepare young scholars for higher education and technical careers.

To support its high school population, the district maintains a robust, highly attentive educational team consisting of nearly 25 full-time equivalent staff members. This includes over 11 full-time equivalent classroom teachers alongside dedicated instructional aides and support staff, yielding a remarkably favorable student-to-teacher ratio of approximately six-to-one that ensures significant individualized instruction and academic mentorship. The student body is composed of 42 male and 26 female students representing a mix of racial and ethnic backgrounds, including White, Hispanic, Asian, American Indian, and Pacific Islander youth.
