GLENNS FERRY JOINT DISTRICT

Situated at 800 Old Highway 30 in Glenns Ferry, Idaho, the Glenns Ferry Joint District provides comprehensive public education to its rural, remote community within the Mountain Home area. As an open, traditional public school system operating independently of charter networks or supervisory unions, the district oversees three active schools that deliver continuous instructional programming from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. This complete K–12 offering ensures local families have access to a cohesive educational foundation designed to guide students seamlessly from early childhood education to high school graduation.

The district serves a student population of 361 learners, consisting of 186 male and 175 female students. Demographically, the student body includes 224 White students, 127 Hispanic students, five students identifying with two or more races, three Black students, one American Indian student, and one Asian student. To effectively support learning across its campuses, the district maintains a full-time equivalent (FTE) workforce of nearly 109 staff members. This includes approximately 58 full-time equivalent classroom teachers, eight instructional aides, and 43 support staff professionals, reflecting a robust instructional and operational framework tailored to the needs of its community.
