BOUNDARY COUNTY DISTRICT

Headquartered at 7188 Oak Street in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Boundary County District serves as a primary educational pillar for its surrounding community. Operating as an active, traditional public school district in a rural remote geographic setting, the district encompasses six operational schools that collectively provide a full educational continuum from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Designed to offer accessible and stable public education across its expansive footprint, the non-charter district delivers foundational early childhood programs, comprehensive elementary learning, and rigorous secondary pathways tailored to prepare students for higher education and future career opportunities.

During the 2024–2025 school year, Boundary County District serves a total student body of 1,455 enrolled students, reflecting a balanced distribution across grade levels and a demographic makeup that includes 1,269 White, 92 Hispanic, 53 multiracial, and 33 American Indian students, alongside representation from Asian, Black, and Pacific Islander backgrounds. To support student achievement and operational needs across its facilities, the district maintains a substantial workforce totaling roughly 329 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff members. This includes approximately 152 FTE classroom teachers, 20 instructional aides, and 157 support staff, ensuring a well-resourced environment with small class sizes and personalized attention for every learner.
