LAKELAND DISTRICT

Located at 15506 North Washington Street in Rathdrum, Idaho, the Lakeland District serves as a vibrant, traditional public school system within the greater Coeur d'Alene metropolitan region. Operating in a fringe town setting, this fully open and active district manages 11 operational schools designed to guide students seamlessly through every stage of their primary and secondary education. Serving a total enrollment of 4,568 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade—comprising 2,325 male and 2,243 female learners—the district offers an inclusive and comprehensive learning environment tailored to prepare youth for higher education and future careers.

To support its student body and maintain high educational standards, the Lakeland District employs a robust workforce of over 1,020 full-time equivalent staff members. The core instructional team features approximately 526 full-time equivalent teachers and over 75 instructional aides who provide essential targeted learning support in the classroom. Additionally, more than 420 support personnel ensure smooth daily operations, transportation, and administrative functioning.
