FILER DISTRICT

Located at 700 B Stevens Avenue in Filer, Idaho, the Filer District serves as a primary educational hub for the surrounding rural fringe community within the greater Twin Falls metropolitan area. As an open, traditional public school district, it oversees five operational schools that provide a continuous academic pathway from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The district currently educates 1,550 students, maintaining a balanced student body comprising 774 female and 776 male learners. Demographically, the student population predominantly consists of White (1,264) and Hispanic (255) students, alongside representation from Multiracial, Black, American Indian, Asian, and Pacific Islander backgrounds, fostering a supportive community environment for local families.

To support its student body across all grade levels, the Filer District maintains a comprehensive workforce of over 320 full-time equivalent staff members. The core academic team includes 176 full-time equivalent teachers, backed by approximately 20 instructional aides who provide essential targeted learning support in the classroom. Furthermore, over 124 support staff members oversee daily operations, administrative needs, and student services across the district’s campuses.
