West Carroll Parish

Headquartered at 314 East Main Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana, the West Carroll Parish School District serves as an essential educational cornerstone for its remote rural community. Operating as a traditional, non-charter public school system, the district maintains three active operational schools providing comprehensive instruction from Pre-Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. During the 2024–2025 academic year, the district educates a diverse student body of 1,483 learners, including 1,105 White, 274 Black, 55 Hispanic, and 35 multiracial students, alongside small populations of Asian, American Indian, and Pacific Islander youth.
