KIPP Believe

KIPP Believe is an active independent charter district operating within the vibrant urban landscape of New Orleans, Louisiana. Situated at 9330 Forshey Street, the district serves families across the broader New Orleans-Metairie metropolitan area, providing a continuous academic pathway spanning from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Currently serving a total enrollment of 710 students—comprising 341 female and 369 male learners—the student body represents a rich urban demographic that includes 648 Black, 52 Hispanic, six White, three multiracial, and one American Indian student.

Operating through a single dedicated school campus, the district maintains a robust organizational footprint designed to support its learners at every developmental stage. KIPP Believe employs a total staff of 224 full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel, anchored by 114 teachers, 21 instructional aides, and 89 support staff members. Student numbers steadily transition across grade levels, beginning with 16 pre-kindergarten students and 52 kindergarteners, and expanding into primary and middle school cohorts that average between 70 and 86 students per grade. This strong baseline of teaching professionals and dedicated support staff ensures a well-resourced educational environment tailored to the academic and social needs of its elementary and middle school community.
