Bricolage Academy

Located at 2426 Esplanade in New Orleans, Louisiana, Bricolage Academy operates as an open, independent charter district serving the vibrant New Orleans-Metairie metropolitan area. Set within a large city environment, this single-school district functions as its own local educational agency for federal programs, delivering a comprehensive academic pathway for elementary and middle school students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. By concentrating its educational offerings exclusively on foundational and middle-grade development, the academy provides a tailored community environment designed to prepare young scholars for their transition into high school.

During the 2024–2025 school year, Bricolage Academy serves a diverse student body of 965 scholars, balanced across grade levels with 470 female and 495 male students. To foster academic growth and holistic student development, the district maintains a substantial personnel presence totaling 296 full-time equivalent staff members. This dedicated team includes 122 full-time equivalent teachers, 15 instructional aides, and 159 support staff personnel, reflecting a strong investment in classroom instruction, specialized student services, and operational support within its urban educational community.
