Walter L. Cohen High School

Located at 3575 Baronne Street in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana, Walter L. Cohen High School operates as an active, single-school independent charter district serving the New Orleans-Metairie metropolitan area. Set within a bustling large-city environment, the district provides focused secondary education tailored for students in ninth through thirteenth grade. For the 2024–2025 academic year, the school educates a close-knit cohort of 413 students, including 114 ninth graders, 85 tenth graders, 98 eleventh graders, 106 twelfth graders, and 10 students participating in specialized thirteenth-grade transitional programming.
