Opportunities Academy

Opportunities Academy is an active, single-school independent charter district located at 2625 Thalia Street in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana. Operating within a large city setting in the New Orleans-Metairie metropolitan area, the district acts as its own local educational agency for federal programs, fulfilling a highly focused role in the region's educational landscape by serving 12th-grade students exclusively. According to National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) data for the 2024–2025 school year, the academy educates a close-knit senior cohort of 93 students, consisting of 61 male and 32 female learners.
