Foundation Preparatory Academy

Foundation Preparatory Academy is an active, open independent charter district operating a single school site within the vibrant urban setting of New Orleans, Louisiana. Located at 3121 Saint Bernard Ave., the academy serves families in a large city setting within the greater New Orleans-Metairie metropolitan area. Dedicated to foundational academic development, the school offers comprehensive instruction spanning from Kindergarten through 8th grade. With a total enrollment of 274 students—148 male and 126 female—the district provides a close-knit learning environment, with grade sizes ranging from 20 students in Kindergarten up to 46 in the 6th grade. Reflecting its surrounding community, the student body is culturally rich and diverse, primarily composed of Black (207 students) and Hispanic (64 students) learners.

To ensure strong academic achievement and holistic support, Foundation Preparatory Academy maintains a well-resourced instructional and administrative framework.
