Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical

Located at 240 Sykes Street in Palmer, Massachusetts, Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical serves as a premier public education hub within the suburban landscape of the greater Springfield metropolitan area. Operating as an active, single-school public district, Pathfinder delivers a specialized high school experience exclusively for students in ninth through twelfth grade. As a traditional regional vocational district rather than a charter institution, it blends rigorous academic standards with hands-on technical training, equipping students across its single operational campus with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for immediate career entry or higher education.

For the 2024–2025 academic school year, the district supports a total enrollment of 660 high schoolers, beginning with 182 ninth graders and 178 tenth graders, alongside 155 juniors and 145 seniors. The student population includes 404 male and 255 female students, bringing together a diverse community of learners that includes 549 White students, 72 Hispanic students, 25 students of two or more races, 9 Black students, 3 Asian students, and 1 Pacific Islander student. To foster a supportive and enriched learning environment, Pathfinder maintains a strong staffing infrastructure comprising approximately 236 full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel. This dedicated team includes roughly 133 classroom teachers, 13 instructional aides, and 90 support staff members, ensuring comprehensive instructional and operational support across all vocational and academic disciplines.
