MSAD 27

Located at 84 Pleasant Street in Fort Kent, Maine, MSAD 27 is an active, traditional public school district dedicated to serving its local community across three operational schools. Nestled in a remote rural setting in northern Maine, the district provides a complete academic continuum spanning from pre-kindergarten through the 12th grade. As an independent, non-charter district, MSAD 27 offers families a cohesive educational path that nurtures young learners from early childhood through high school graduation.

During the 2024–2025 academic year, the district serves a student body of 812 learners, balanced between 394 female and 418 male students. To support student achievement and well-being, MSAD 27 maintains a strong workforce comprising more than 323 full-time equivalent personnel.
