Countryside Academy

Located at 4800 Meadowbrook Road in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Countryside Academy operates as an active independent charter district within the rural fringe setting of the broader Niles metropolitan area. Serving the region across two operational campuses, the district provides a comprehensive educational program spanning kindergarten through twelfth grade. As an established charter local educational agency for federal programs, the academy delivers a continuous primary and secondary learning environment tailored to prepare students for higher education and future careers.

During the 2024–2025 academic year, Countryside Academy serves a student body of 770 learners, reflecting a vibrant cultural community primarily composed of Black (432) and Hispanic (244) students, alongside White (63) and multiracial scholars. To foster academic growth and institutional support, the district maintains a robust workforce of approximately 211 full-time equivalent staff members. This dedicated team includes nearly 98 full-time equivalent teachers complemented by instructional aides and over 105 support personnel, ensuring a well-resourced and supportive educational atmosphere across all grade levels.
