Holly Park Academy

Holly Park Academy is an active, independent public charter school district located at 3300 Express Court in Lansing, Michigan. Nestled within the midsize city environment of the Lansing-East Lansing metropolitan area, this single-school district provides tuition-free public education tailored specifically for elementary and middle school students from Kindergarten through eighth grade. Operating as its own local education agency for federal programs, the academy delivers a focused, community-centered academic environment designed to support early childhood and middle school development without the overwhelming scale of traditional multi-school public districts.

During the 2024–2025 academic year, Holly Park Academy educates a total of 478 students, maintaining balanced enrollment across all primary grades—ranging from 61 kindergarteners to 47 eighth-graders. The student body reflects a vibrant, multicultural community, including 233 Black, 119 Hispanic, 73 multiracial, 35 White, and 17 Asian students, alongside a balanced gender distribution of 226 female and 252 male learners. To support its educational mission, the district employs a robust team of approximately 126 full-time equivalent staff members. This includes 56 full-time equivalent teachers, 14 instructional aides, and 55 support personnel, ensuring students benefit from small learning communities, strong instructional oversight, and comprehensive wraparound services.
