Timberland Academy

Located at 2574 McLaughlin Ave in Muskegon, Michigan, Timberland Academy is an active, single-school independent charter district serving students from Kindergarten through eighth grade. Situated within a midsize suburban setting in the Muskegon-Norton Shores metropolitan region, the academy offers a focused academic environment tailored to early childhood and middle school development. During the 2024–2025 school year, the district enrolled 613 students across its primary and middle grades, maintaining a strong foundational program starting with 83 kindergarteners and culminating in an 8th-grade graduating class of 60 students.
