Frontier International Academy

Located at 13200 Conant Street in Detroit, Michigan, Frontier International Academy is an active, independent public charter district serving families within the vibrant urban setting of the Detroit-Warren-Dearborn metropolitan area. Functioning as its own local educational agency across two operating school facilities, the district offers a continuous academic framework designed to serve students from pre-kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. With a total enrollment of 1,132 students, the academy fosters a multicultural learning environment marked by significant representation from Asian and White student populations, alongside Black, American Indian, and multiracial learners.

To effectively support its student body across both elementary and high school levels, Frontier International Academy maintains a well-resourced instructional and operational workforce. The district relies on a dedicated team of roughly 219 full-time equivalent staff members, anchored by nearly 118 full-time equivalent teachers who lead classroom instruction. This teaching core is further strengthened by more than 14 instructional aides and 87 support personnel, ensuring that students benefit from structured academic assistance, holistic care, and strong institutional resources tailored to every stage of their PK–12 educational journey.
