FIT Academy

FIT Academy is an open, independent public charter school district located at 7200 147th Street West in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Situated within a large suburban setting in the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington metropolitan area, the district functions as its own local education agency for federal programs and operates two educational facilities. FIT Academy provides a continuous learning pathway for students spanning from kindergarten through 12th grade, offering families in the region a focused charter school alternative within the public education system.

According to federal educational data for the 2024–2025 academic year, FIT Academy serves a student body of 458 children, maintaining primary enrollment strength in the elementary and middle school grades alongside specialized high school cohorts. The student population represents a diverse community, including 257 White, 112 Black, 47 Hispanic, 22 multiracial, 15 Asian, 4 American Indian, and 1 Pacific Islander student, comprising 252 male and 206 female learners.
