AFSA High School

Located at 100 Vadnais Boulevard in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, AFSA High School operates as an active, independent public charter school district within the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area. Situated in a large suburban setting, the district manages two operational facilities that offer a continuous academic pathway serving students from pre-kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. Functioning as its own local educational agency for federal programs, AFSA provides families across the Twin Cities area with an accessible, open public charter experience designed to support learners at every stage of their primary and secondary education.

During the 2024–2025 school year, the district serves a close-knit population of 395 enrolled students, building a diverse learning community made up of 212 White, 66 Hispanic, 43 Black, 36 Asian, and 34 multiracial learners. To effectively guide this student body, AFSA maintains a robust staffing framework totaling roughly 142.6 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions. This dedicated team features nearly 63 FTE classroom teachers, supported by 17 instructional aides and 63 support staff members, creating a well-resourced environment tailored to individualized instruction, early childhood development, and college-or-career preparation.
