Stonebridge World School

Located in the heart of Minneapolis at 4530 Lyndale Avenue South, Stonebridge World School is an active independent charter school district operating a single campus within a dynamic, large city setting. Serving children from Pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade, the school provides an enriching educational foundation tailored to critical early childhood and elementary growth stages. For the 2024–2025 academic year, the school welcomed an enrollment of 240 students, fostering a close-knit and culturally diverse learning community composed predominantly of Black and Hispanic students, along with multiracial, White, Asian, and Native American learners, maintained with a balanced gender representation.

To support academic success and holistic development, Stonebridge World School maintains a highly attentive staffing model. The instructional team includes 32 full-time equivalent teachers supported by 12 instructional aides and more than 33 dedicated support staff members, culminating in a robust team of over 77 full-time equivalent professionals. This generous staff-to-student ratio enables individualized instruction and comprehensive support across all grade levels. Operating as its own Local Educational Agency for federal programs, the district offers researchers a compelling model of charter-based urban education while providing local families a supportive, community-focused public school option.
