Success Academy

Located at 8201 Park Avenue South in Bloomington, Minnesota, Success Academy is an active, independent charter district dedicated to providing a comprehensive elementary and middle school education within the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington metropolitan region. Operating within a small city setting, this public charter district encompasses four operational school sites serving young learners from kindergarten through eighth grade. Functioning as its own local educational agency for federal programs, the district offers a continuous academic pathway tailored to early childhood development and adolescent growth, bridging foundational early literacy and math in the primary grades with rigorous preparation in the upper elementary and middle school years.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, Success Academy fosters a close-knit learning community with a total enrollment of 366 students, comprising 202 female and 164 male learners. The district's student body reflects a rich cultural background, with enrollment distributed evenly across its primary and middle school grade levels. To cultivate academic success and nurture individual student needs, Success Academy maintains a well-resourced staff of approximately 90 full-time equivalent professionals. This dedicated team includes more than 50 full-time classroom teachers, roughly 10 instructional aides offering targeted academic intervention, and nearly 30 support staff members, ensuring a supportive, structured, and student-centered educational environment.
