Midway Star Academy

Midway Star Academy is an active independent charter school district operating out of a single facility located at 1091 Snelling Ave N in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Situated within the dynamic urban environment of the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington metropolitan area, this public district is structured to serve students from kindergarten through eighth grade. During the 2024–2025 academic year, Midway Star Academy serves a student body of 393 children, maintaining steady enrollment across its elementary and middle school grades. The student population includes 207 male and 186 female students, representing a predominantly Black student body. To support academic growth and individual student needs, the district maintains a robust staff consisting of approximately 40 full-time equivalent teachers and 19 instructional aides.
