DORA R-III

Located at 613 County Road 379 in Dora, Missouri, the Dora R-III school district is an active, traditional public school system serving families within a remote rural community setting. Operating independently as a non-charter district, Dora R-III offers a seamless educational environment spanning from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Across its two operational school facilities, the district is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive academic program tailored to the needs of rural learners, providing local families with a consistent, community-rooted educational framework from early childhood through high school graduation.

The district currently serves a close-knit student body of 307 learners, comprising 157 male and 150 female students across its elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. Student demographics include 290 White students, 9 Hispanic students, 5 students of two or more races, as well as American Indian, Black, and Asian representation.
