EVERTON R-III

Located at 509 E. School Street in Everton, Missouri, the Everton R-III School District serves as a vital educational anchor for its surrounding rural community. As an active, traditional public school district operating independently of charter or supervisory union systems, Everton R-III manages two operational schools that deliver a seamless PK–12 learning continuum. From early childhood pre-kindergarten programs through senior high school graduation, the district offers a cohesive academic foundation designed to nurture local students at every stage of their development.

During the 2024–2025 school year, the district provides a close-knit learning atmosphere for a student body of 145 enrolled children, comprising 80 male and 65 female students. The student population includes 138 White, 5 American Indian, and 2 Hispanic learners, fostering a small-school environment where individual progress can be closely monitored. Supporting this student body is a comprehensive professional team totaling nearly 62 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff members. This includes approximately 35 FTE teachers, an instructional aide, and over 25 support personnel, resulting in an exceptionally favorable student-to-teacher ratio that allows for highly tailored instruction and strong community connection.
