COLE CO. R-I

Located along Route C in Russellville, Missouri, the Cole County R-I School District serves as a primary educational hub for its rural community within the greater Jefferson City metropolitan area. As an open, traditional public school system, Cole Co. R-I operates two school facilities that deliver a seamless learning progression spanning from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The district offers families in the region a cohesive academic pathway, nurturing young learners in early childhood programs and guiding them through elementary, middle, and high school graduation in a supportive rural setting.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, the district educates a close-knit student body of 604 students across all grade levels. To foster an effective learning environment, Cole County R-I maintains a strong staffing structure comprised of approximately 150 full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel.
