Western Line Schools

Headquartered at 102 Maddox Road in Avon, Mississippi, Western Line Schools is an active, non-charter public school district serving the rural fringe of the greater Greenville metropolitan area. Operating four campuses, the district delivers a complete continuum of public education ranging from prekindergarten through 12th grade, as well as adult education programs. For the 2024–2025 academic year, the district educates a student body of 1,739 enrolled learners, consisting of 891 female and 848 male students. The student population reflects a rich cultural mix, composed predominantly of 1,113 Black students, 383 White students, 179 multiracial students, and 58 Hispanic students.

To foster academic achievement and student well-being across all grade levels, Western Line Schools maintains a robust professional workforce comprising nearly 590 full-time equivalent staff members. The district's instructional framework is anchored by 236 full-time classroom teachers, complemented by 42 instructional aides who provide targeted academic support.
