The New Dimensions School

Located at 550 Lenoir Road in Morganton, North Carolina, The New Dimensions School is an active independent charter district serving families within a small city setting in the Hickory-Lenoir-Morganton metropolitan region. Functioning as a single-school Local Education Agency (LEA) designated for IDEA, the district provides public education for elementary and middle school students spanning kindergarten through eighth grade. Operating as a fully open institution for the 2024–2025 academic year, the school delivers localized instruction to the surrounding community from its single operational facility.

During the 2024–2025 school year, the district educates a total student body of 569 children, comprising 290 male and 279 female learners. The student population includes 500 White students, 31 students of two or more races, 21 Black students, 13 Hispanic students, and 4 Asian students, with enrollment evenly distributed across the kindergarten to eighth-grade levels. Educational and operational needs are met by a total staffing capacity of 80.74 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions. This dedicated workforce includes 77.08 FTE teachers and 3.66 FTE support staff members, maintaining a structured, well-supported instructional environment for all enrolled students.
