Legacy Classical Academy

Located at 2621 S Scales Street in Reidsville, North Carolina, Legacy Classical Academy operates as an active, independent charter district dedicated to foundational elementary education. Situated in a fringe town setting within the greater Greensboro-High Point metropolitan region, this single-facility district serves young learners from kindergarten through fifth grade. As an independent charter local educational agency, the academy provides a specialized academic program designed to support early childhood growth and elementary academic development within a focused community setting.

For the 2024–2025 school year, Legacy Classical Academy serves a close-knit student body of 206 children, with enrollment thoughtfully distributed across the primary grades, including 51 kindergarteners, 38 first graders, 37 second graders, 27 third graders, 24 fourth graders, and 29 fifth graders. The student population reflects a balanced community of 105 female and 101 male learners, comprising 127 White, 43 Black, 18 Hispanic, and 18 multiracial students. Academic instruction is anchored by a dedicated faculty of approximately 14 full-time equivalent teachers, fostering a personalized and supportive instructional environment throughout these formative primary years.
