EDUCATIONAL SERVICE UNIT 03

Headquartered at 6949 S 110th Street in La Vista, Nebraska, Educational Service Unit 03 (ESU 03) serves as an active regional service agency situated in a large suburban setting within the greater Omaha metropolitan area. Operating across nine specialized facilities, ESU 03 is structured to support comprehensive programming spanning Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. While structured to deliver broad PK–12 academic and administrative services across its partner network, the district directly serves a specialized primary student body composed of 136 early childhood learners enrolled in its Pre-Kindergarten programs.

The unit’s enrolled student body is almost evenly divided between female and male learners, representing a diverse background that includes Black, White, multiracial, Hispanic, Asian, and Pacific Islander children. To support these students and fulfill its expansive mission as a regional service hub, ESU 03 deploys a substantial workforce of more than 600 full-time equivalent personnel. This multidisciplinary team includes 58 certified teachers, 46 instructional aides, and a robust corps of over 500 support staff members, reflecting a deep commitment to specialized instruction, student intervention, and district-wide educational support.
