SOUTHERN VALLEY SCHOOLS

Situated along 43739 Highway 89 in Oxford, Nebraska, Southern Valley Schools is an active, traditional public school district serving families in a remote rural setting. Operating two distinct school facilities, the district provides a continuous educational pathway spanning from pre-kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. Positioned within Nebraska's 3rd Congressional District, this fully operational district offers a cohesive academic environment focused on guiding local youth through every milestone of their primary and secondary education.

The district currently educates a student body of 397 enrolled learners, featuring a balanced population composed of 201 female and 196 male students. The student community includes 347 White, 36 Hispanic, six multiracial, five American Indian, and three Black students. To support student success across all grade levels—ranging from 41 early childhood pre-kindergarteners to 28 graduating high school seniors—Southern Valley Schools maintains a robust workforce of approximately 165 full-time equivalent staff members.
